Open Water Swimming
The Watersports Centre at Tallington Lakes provides an ideal venue in one of our clean spring fed lakes for Open Water Swimming – please note this is not a general swim session and all participants must be a competent swimmer of 750m in open water.
The lake is marked out with inflatable buoys. The outside circuit (orange buoys) is a distance of 750 metres. All participants will need to complete an emergency contact form before entering the water for the first time. The Watersports Centre offers changing and shower facilities
Please sign in at the Watersports reception, where your booking will be checked off. If you are waiting for other people who are part of your booking please wait until you are all together before signing in.
Strictly no refunds under any circumstances, to include adverse weather conditions. No dogs allowed in the water or near the water’s edge.
By purchasing online tickets/making an online booking you agree to the rules of the park and the rules of Open Water Swim. You also agree to the Activities Venture Ltd Adventure Activities Agreement Terms and Conditions, these are available to view on the website and can be directly supplied if requested.
Terms & Conditions
It’s mandatory for all participants to tow a swim float whilst in our lake. (Sorry we don't hire float's out)
FULL Wetsuits are mandatory for all participants when the water temperature is below 14.5c. A limited selection of wetsuits are available for hire if required, at an additional cost.
